Auditing Malpractice & Corporate Malfeasance
Crowley v. Chait, No. 85-2441 (D.N.J. 2005). As an attorney at Jones Day, Mills represented the receiver of Ambassador Insurance Company in an auditing-malpractice case against PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in federal district court. Mills cross-examined PwC's expert actuarial witness at trial. The $120-million jury verdict in our client's favor was the 15th-largest in the country for 2005.
