Noteworthy
In a one-month span before his argument at the U.S. Supreme Court, Mills also represented three defendants in appeals in the Sixth Circuit, including two oral arguments. The Sixth Circuit reverses criminal cases approximately 8-10% of the time. Mills obtained reversals in all three Sixth Circuit cases. And he won the Supreme Court case 9-0.
